Pre- and Post-Natal Training
The body undergoes dramatic changes before and after giving birth and while becoming a mum is incredibly rewarding, it can also make women feel self-conscious about how they look and feel. Zoe’s Pre- and Post-Natal Training programme is designed to promote the health and wellbeing of women before and after they give birth, helping them regain energy and feel positive and confident about their body image. It focuses on resistance training to maintain muscle strength, cardiovascular exercise to boost the health of the heart and lungs, as well as gentle stretches that promote mobility and flexibility.
Women should not commence training until at least six weeks after giving birth. Those who have had a caesarean section or birth complications should not train until at least 10 weeks after giving birth. Please consult your GP before starting a pre- or post-natal exercise programme.
